August 11, 2022 – Ridgefield, CT — It is with great appreciation and warm wishes that the partners at Reynolds + Rowella (R+R) announce the retirement of Steve Risbridger, CPA, effective September 30, 2022.
Steve’s retirement from Reynolds + Rowella will cap nearly 30 years of dedicated service to his clients and the firm. Steve has been a trusted advisor to business owners, nonprofit organizations, and high-net-worth individuals, with whom he has developed valued, long-term relationships. His sage advice has guided thousands of clients in managing complex and constantly changing tax laws. Steve is widely respected in the community, and everyone at R+R will deeply miss his daily presence.
“The relationships I have formed go beyond financial statements and tax returns — they are the foundation of which trust and friendships are built,” he says. “Every day was a learning experience with my partners, our team over the years, and our incredibly driven clients. From assisting clients with complex compliance requirements to consulting engagements and succession planning. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to be a part of building a great foundation for the firm’s future.”
Steve has been a tax and small business partner with R+R since 1995. He was instrumental in the growth and success of the firm and led the charge in opening the firm’s New Canaan office in 2005. His friendly approach to client service was unmatched, and his mentoring of staff and future partners was always a priority to ensure that our clients received the best service possible.
